Where is my data?

On your phone, in the app's private storage — nowhere else. Export it any time from On this phone only → Export (tap the green dot on the Today screen). Deleting it in the app is permanent; there is no cloud copy.

Why does the prediction show a window, not a date?

Because that's the honest answer. Cycle learns your last six cycles and shows how confident it is (the ten dots). Under three logged cycles it says "estimate"; if your cycles vary a lot it widens the window instead of pretending.

I logged bleeding mid-cycle and nothing restarted — why?

A single day of spotting or light bleeding well before your expected window is treated as bleeding between periods (and flagged in Patterns), not a new day 1. If bleeding continues the next day or is medium-plus, a new cycle starts normally.

Can I move my data to a new phone?

Your device backup (iCloud or computer) carries it across automatically. You can also export JSON as a belt-and-braces copy.

Is Cycle contraception?

No. The fertile window is an estimate and is never reliable enough to prevent pregnancy. The app says this wherever fertility appears.
